Alas, the book signing in Galveston was not to be due to a family medical emergency. I have promised the great folks at the Galveston Bookshop and the Rosenberg Library it will still happen. No date set yet.
In the meantime, I have discovered a great outlet–book clubs. Because of the significant topic of Charcoal and Chalk, a number of clubs have selected it as their monthly read. I give them a rate on books and come to speak when asked. I love it and book club members seem to also. The next one scheduled is Redmond, Washington, on July 15–a result of the book signing there a year ago. An Oakhurst, California, club has me on the docket for fall and two clubs in Fresno are pending.
